Joanne St.Martin is the Town of Mayerthorpe Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and Recreation Coordinator.
The Recreation Department manages the swimming pool, parks. It acts as a liasion to the various volunteer groups that operate the curling rink, arena, Diamond Centre and sports grounds.
The FCSS department organizes early childhood development, children, teen and senior programs. As well, they coordinate a low income tax return program, along with the promotion of community development.
Joanne also plays a significant role in providing local groups with grant information, and works with Community Services Board in presenting recommendations to the Mayerthorpe Town Council.
