Councillor Hagman, Councillor Jogola, and Councillor Greenwood will be participating via Zoom for the June 8, 2020 Policies and Priorities Meeting.
Council meets the second and fourth Mondays of every month unless it falls on a holiday, the meeting will then be scheduled for the Tuesday following at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.

Mayerthorpe Town Council Launches ‘Coffee with Council’
Mayerthorpe Town Council has launched a new initiative designed to recognize the achievements of the business community and empower community members to engage in an informal meeting to express ideas, solutions, and forward-thinking best practices.
‘Coffee with Council’ will be tested throughout the first quarter. The informal meeting will be held at 6:15 PM prior to each P&P (Policies & Priorities) meeting on the third Monday of every month.
Council’s 2016 Strategic Directives Plan states:
“Informed, committed citizens are key to the overall continued success of Mayerthorpe. A positive, coordinated direction and attitude in the community is seen as essential to the future viability of the Town, and that the Council will promote the Town as a place for successful and prosperous businesses and quality of life for residents. This fosters joint commitment to our collective future and enables prosperity for individuals, families, business people, and investors.”
Members of the Registered Business Community will be invited throughout the first quarter based on a random draw. Members of the community are asked to make an appointment at the Town of Office no later then noon the Thursday prior to the meeting.
