Canada Post Labour Disruption -Impacting Mayerthorpe Utility Bills

Due to the ongoing Canada Post labour disruption, some Town of Mayerthorpe services may be affected. September 2025 utility bills will still be mailed in the first week of October.

However, customers who typically receive their bills via regular mail may experience delays depending on the duration of the labour dispute. Despite the strike, utility bills are still due, and residents are reminded that not receiving a bill does not mean there is no payment due.

To ensure the timely delivery of your utility bill, the Town of Mayerthorpe is offering the following alternatives:

Electronic Billing:
The Town offers free, convenient E-Billing service. Simply visit our website at https://www.mayerthorpe.ca/about/town-services#utilities to view our billing options.

In-Person Payments:
Utility account holders may also pay in person at the Town Office from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Payments can be made by cash, debit, or cheque.

For more information, please contact the Town Office at 780-786-2416.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
