Town of Mayerthorpe is seeking a qualified Playgroup Instructor to cover a one-year childbirth leave starting in January 2025. Cross-training to be provided from September to December on a casual basis. Successful candidate would be responsible to operate licensed playgroup program for three-year and 4-year-old children.
Certification Required: Early Childhood Diploma, Level 2 or Level 3

FULL-Time TEMPORARY POSITION
Town of Mayerthorpe has a temporary position available for an Economic Development/Communications Specialist (anticipated end date of February 1, 2024). Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position will be responsible for the overall coordination of the Town’s economic development goals and objectives and coordination of the Town’s public information and community relations functions.
Ideal candidate for this position will possess the following competencies: a degree or certificate in economic development, business administration or marketing, a certificate in communications, public relations or media relations, and possess the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
This is position is based on an average of 35 hours per week. Work week is based on 7 hours per day between Monday and Friday, with the exception of some evening and weekend commitments.
As a condition of employment, a clear criminal record check must be provided.
