Seeking a West End Bus Coordinator to organize and schedule recreational trips to various locations within North and Central Alberta. The position is one day a week (7 hours) plus attendance on the scheduled trips as a companion.
The incumbent would be required to:
Liaise with the present institutional users of the West End Bus Program and the general public as to their requirements for recreational outings;
Obtain information and pricing for recreational destinations. ;
Coordinate and organize recreational trips, for the institutional users and the general public, by making bookings, arranging for a driver, etc;
Compile and provide reports as required by the West End Bus Committee;
Prepare newspaper advertising for upcoming trips in coordination with the Town office.
Require Class 1, 2 or 4 Driver’s License, clean Criminal Records Check (vulnerable sector), brief description of driving experience along with name, telephone number and address of two references. Applicant will be required to sign a release to obtain a Driver’s Abstract. Applicant would also be required to take orientation on using lift and wheelchair restraints.

This position is full-time and permanent with a minimum of 40 hours per week. This position is responsible for daily operation, monitoring and maintenance of the water and wastewater facility and supervising plant operations as designated by the Public Works Supervisor. The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment physical and a criminal record check prior to being hired. Job description is available upon request.
This position also includes various other tasks including, but not limited to, equipment operations, physical labor (including ability to lift to 40 lbs.), building, water and sewer maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications required for the position:
Must possess a minimum certification in Water Treatment I, Water Distribution I and Wastewater Collection I training courses of the Alberta Department of Environment.
Should possess a minimum academic level of high school graduation.
Must possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License. A valid Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brake endorsement would be considered an asset.
Equipment Operation experience would be considered an asset.
