Town of Mayerthorpe has a part time position available for a Finance Support Clerk. Reporting to the Assistant CAO/Finance Manager, this position will be responsible for various accounting duties, office administrative duties and other assigned office projects. Hours may vary from minimum of 21 hours per week to maximum 35 hours per week. Candidates must have minimum Grade 12 education, minimum 5 years accounting experience and/or applicable education, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Salary range: $21.65 - $27.43 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

UTILITY OPERATOR 1
UTILITY OPERATOR I
This position is full-time and permanent with a minimum of 40 hours per week. This position is responsible for daily operation, monitoring and maintenance of the water and wastewater facility and supervising plant operations as designated by the Public Works Supervisor. The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment physical and a criminal record check prior to being hired. Job description is available upon request.
This position also includes various other tasks including, but not limited to, equipment operations, physical labor (including ability to lift to 40 lbs.), building, water and sewer maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications required for the position:
Must possess a minimum certification in Water Treatment I, Water Distribution I and Wastewater Collection I training courses of the Alberta Department of Environment.
Should possess a minimum academic level of high school graduation.
Must possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License. A valid Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brake endorsement would be considered an asset.
Equipment Operation experience would be considered an asset.
